The typical Veltliner from the Weinviertel: Pure drinking pleasure!

 

Origin: Johannesbergen + Krainholz /Herrnbaumgarten

Soil: Loess. Planted with various blooming herbs and clover types to promote biodiversity and soil organisms (earthworms).

Harvest: Hand picking with strict selection, 3 picking rounds in early and mid-October.

Description: Crisp and clear nose with a fresh grapefruit aroma; spicy on the palate – white pepper – a great pleasure to drink.

Grape processing & vinification: De-stemmed and instantly pressed, chilled fermentation in inox tanks.

Analysis: Alc.: 12.5 % ABV; residual sugar: 1.0 g/l; Acidity: 5.7 g/l

Food pairing: Antipasti, light meals and fish.

Drinking temperature: about 10°C
