M.C.S. 2016

This cuvée gets its vigour from Merlot, its structure from Cabernet and its elegance from St. Laurent. Matured in small barrels for 12 months.

Cabernet Sauvignon (30%):
Hannbuch (sandy loam)
St. Laurent (10%):
Johannesbergen (loam)

Harvest: hand picking with strict selection

Grape processing & vinification: Mash fermentation with pumping over (14 days), malolactic fermentation and vinification in barriques (12 month).

Analysis: Alc.: 13.5 % ABV; residual sugar: 1.0 g/l; acidity: 4.5 g/l

Drinking temperature: 17 – 18°C
