An uncomplicated red wine, very moreish.


Origin: Herrnbaumgarten vineyards – Lower Austria

Soil: Lime-rich Tertiary sediments and Loess soils.

Harvest: Hand picking

Grape processing & vinification: Mash fermentation with pumping over, malolactic fermentation and vinification in stainless steel vats.

Analysis: Alc.: 12,5 % ABV; residual sugar: 1.0 g/l; acidity: 4.4 g/l

Description: Zweigelt with mild tannins and fruity note of cherry, a good drinking wine, very moreish.

Food pairing: Pasta or for garden barbecues

Drinking temperature: 14 – 16°C

Best age to open: 1 – 2 years after vintage
